Moulds for a complete packaging system

- complete packaging system for a hair care product line in 200 ml and 250 ml sizes

- PE for bottles and PP for closures
Product requirements:
- smooth overall packaging design
- high functionality for different liquids
- modular mould system from one supplier
Mould design and features:
- 3-cavity extrusion blow moulds for both bottle sizes
- 3 injection moulds (thereof one combi mould for 2 different parts) for closure components
This was a joint project between ID Hair, Rebhan FPS Kunststoffverpackungen and Hering’s Büro. The packaging was awarded with the “reddot design award” in 2012.
